Absolutely killer breakfast! I tried their Friday chorizo breakfast tacos and they were absolutely delicious
So good for brunch. I always go with the classic and some of the lemon cornmeal pancakes too. Definitely have to try the veggie gravy. It really is unique and delicious. Also saw they are doing boogaloos at night too. I want to stop in and try some of their sangria which they run specials on!
I still come here often. I like the ambiance/vibe, and I like most of the food. The desayuno tipico is delicious with a sweet plantain cake! Often the wait time at Boogaloos is reasonable nowadays (in 2023), which is a nice change when you compare it to other SF brunch restaurants like Plow or Zazie.
My biggest pain point is the ventilation, it often feels stuffy and hot inside the restaurant. The kitchen smells are strong at times too. Also the menu could get some updating, can we please have some more of the vegan options (maybe "just eggs," or faux cheese for the quesadilla)?
Stopped by for a quick bite. The vegan soy-rizo quesadilla & Side Black Beans were really good! Would get that one again.

i am unsure if they are still open but if they are, it is hands down the best breakfast I have had n San Francisco.
The Pollo & Peppers sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! Delicious, crispy, grilled chicken with charred peppers combine to make a tasty delightful meal. The soup on the side is always delicious, and tastes fresh and homemade. Also, would definitely recommend getting the home fries. They are always crispy and delicious. But, they aren't your typical fry- it's more so small potatoes.
The service is always fast and friendly.
The ambiance is great, with lots of natural light, latin rock music playing, and plants hanging from the ceiling!
Overall this place is well priced and delicious. You couldn't ask for more.
I've always loved Boogaloos for brunch and I just discovered they're open for dinner on Fri-Sun until 8pm. The service was great! Carlos hooked us up! Our meal was delicious and the restaurant was shockingly empty! The portions were generous and the music was lively, creating a fun atmosphere. Please come support this local business during their new weekend dinner hours!
